Chief Executive Officer of Mumtalakat

Khalid Al Rumaihi was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Mumtalakat, with effect from September 2019. Prior to joining Mumtalakat, he served five years as the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) where he was responsible for channelling inward investments into the country. He continues to play an active role as a Board member of the EDB.

Before heading the EDB, Al Rumaihi spent over 10 years at Investcorp as a Managing Director where he was also a member of the Management Committee and Head of the Institutional Placement Team covering Investcorp’s clients in the Arabian Gulf. This was preceded by a 9 year term in J.P. Morgan as head of its private client group in the Gulf region.
He also chairs the Boards of Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah) and the Bahrain Development Bank. In addition, he also serves on the Boards of other companies such as the National Bank of Bahrain, Mumtalakat, McLaren Group, the National Oil and Gas Authority and Arcapita.
With a Masters degree in Public Policy specializing in Economic Development from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Al Rumaihi has also chaired the Board of the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) and has held Board positions at Gulf Air and Securities Investment Company.

Dr. Dawood Nassif

Dr. Dawood Nassif serves as Chairman of The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), Board Director of National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA), Board Director of The Oil & Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), Chairman of the Bahrain Refinery Modernization Steering Committee and Board Director of Gulf Air. 37 years’ experience in the Oil Industry (BAPCO) in a number of locations mainly in Refining. A Chemical Engineer and fellow of The Institution of Chemical Engineers.
Jean- Christophe Durand

Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand joined National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) as CEO in December 2016 where he continues to focus on reinforcing and expanding the Bank’s role as a driver for economic growth and development. He brings to his role over 37 years of international and regional banking and finance experience gained from senior leadership roles at leading global banking institutions of which 30 years are in the GCC. Previously, and for 20 years, he was the CEO of BNP Paribas Middle East and Africa region for Corporate and Institutional Banking and Asset Management. Mr. Durand holds several Board positions locally and regionally. He is a Director for Gulf Air, and Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) and the Chairman of Batelco’s Executive Committee.
He is also the Vice Chairman for Umniah Telecommunication Company in Jordan, and a Director for Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and the Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain (FCCIB). Mr. Durand is a graduate from ESSEC (Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) in Paris.

Rana is partner in charge of talent and communications and a member of the Executive at Deloitte in the Middle East region which spans 16 countries. She is also a former elected member of the firm’s Board of Directors. She has worked in a number of countries in the Middle East and Europe Before joining Deloitte, she was HR Director in the EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India & Africa) regional management team at Andersen, and previous roles included HR Director of the Growing Economies region. During her career, she provided human capital consulting services to multinational and leading companies in the region. Early in her career, she worked in educational management, and lectured at university level. Rana is an active champion of women advancement, corporate responsibility, and youth skills building initiatives in the MENA region. She speaks frequently on strategic talent management, corporate responsibility, entrepreneurship, diversity, corporate branding, and communications at regional and international conferences. In 2017 and 2018, Rana was ranked in the top 5 “Global Champions of Women in Business” by the UK’s Financial Times (FT) and HERoes.
Abdulaziz A. Al-Helaissi

Mr. Al-Helaissi has 29 years of banking and regulatory experience primarily in Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining GIB in February 2016, Mr. Al-Helaissi held the position of Deputy Governor for Supervision at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) having started there in May, 2013. At SAMA, his responsibilities included the oversight of the banking and insurance sectors as well as finance company regulation (mortgages, leasing and other non-bank finance institutions). He was additionally responsible for consumer protection.

Prior to his post at SAMA, Mr. Al-Helaissi was Senior Country Officer and Managing Director, Saudi Arabia for JPMorgan Chase as well as Head of Global Corporate Banking for Middle East and North Africa. Earlier in his career, he was Saudi British Bank (Affiliate of HSBC), Central Province Area General Manager, covering all key lines of business, including corporate and consumer banking. Also, he has served on a number of boards, including Saudi Stock Exchange(Tadawul).

Mr. Al-Helaissi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin, USA.

Ali Al Baqali

Ali Al Baqali was appointed as the Acting CEO of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba) on 01 August 2019.
Al Baqali has been a part of the Alba family for more than two decades and brings years of leadership and honed experience from within the Company. Al Baqali joined Alba as a Purchasing Officer back in 1998 and was appointed as the Manager for Procurement in 2010.

In 2013, Al Baqali became part of Alba’s Executive fold with his appointment as the Chief Financial Officer moving further up the ranks to become Deputy CEO and Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2017. In his Executive Management roles, Al Baqali has been instrumental in the fast-paced progress of Alba’s landmark Line 6 Expansion Project, especially in securing the US$3 billion financing for the Project and formulating sourcing strategies for key raw materials.

As a Bahraini who grew from within Alba, Al Baqali believes that Alba’s growth and success depend heavily on the Company’s entrenched principles on Safety, Development of Human Capital, Social and Civic Responsibility as well as Community Development.

Al Baqali is a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS), UK; Board member of the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), INJAZ and is on the Board of Tenmou, the first Bahraini Business Angels Company. Ali holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain and an MBA from the French Arabian Business School - ESSEC.

Mr. Mutlaq H. Al-Morished is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of TASNEE, one of the largest Saudi diversified industrial companies having investments in several fields.
Prior to his present post, he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance, (CFO) at SABIC, Vice President of Metals SBU, EVP Shared Services, President of SADAF and HADEED, consecutively. He was also Chairman of the Board of YANSAB, SABIC Capital in Netherland, SAUDI KAYAN, SABIC Captive Insurance Limited in UK and Alinma Investment Co. He was board member of Gulf Bank in Bahrain & the Advisory Board for Economic Affairs of the Supreme Economic Council of Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Mr. Al-Morished is board member of General Organization of Saudi Arabian airlines, Alinma Tokio Marine (ATMC), Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA), Gulf Petrochemical & Chemical Association (GPCA), CITI Group in Saudi Arabia, Alinma Bank and Saudi General Authority for Military Industries. Chairman of the board of National Metal Manufacturing & Casting Co. (Maadaniyah).
Mr. AL-Morished holds an MBA degree from Stanford University, a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Physics & Mathematics from the University of Denver.

Susan Hunter is a highly experienced business leader in the global shipping and integrated logistics industry and is currently Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminal Bahrain, responsible for the day to day management and performance of Bahrain’s only commercial port facility, Khalifa Bin Salman Port.
She was previously based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where she was Global Head of the Operational Excellence Programme for APM Terminals responsible for implementing corporate strategy across one of the worlds most comprehensive port and integrated inland service networks.
Prior to this Susan held a number of senior management positions with Maersk, one of the worlds largest integrated container logistics companies, focusing on business transformation, growth and development. She joined in 2009 as part of the West and Central Asia Regional Management team, and in 2015 was appointed Global Head of Commercial Transformation charged with driving digital transformation worldwide, across 120 countries. She has also held senior board positions with Maersk Pakistan and the Suez Canal Container Terminal company.
Before moving to the MENA region, Susan also held a number of senior positions in the Utilities and Telecom industries within the United Kingdom.
Najla Al Shirawi

Najla Al Shirawi has more than 21 years of investment banking experience. Having been part of SICO since 1997, she was appointed CEO in 2014 following her appointment as deputy CEO in 2013. Najla served with Geneva-based Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust, where she established private banking operations for the Group in the Gulf region. Najla is a Board member at the Bahrain Economic Board (EDB) and a Chairperson on the Board of Directors for two SICO subsidiaries: SICO Funds Services Company (SFS) in Bahrain and SICO Financial Brokerage in Abu Dhabi. She is also an Independent Board Member of Eskan Bank BSC(c), Bahrain and a Board Member of the Deposit Protection Scheme, Bahrain, the Bahrain Associations of Banks, and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance. She holds an MBA from the American College in London and a BA in Civil Engineering from University of Bahrain.
Ronnie Hammad

Ronnie Hammad is the World Bank Resident Advisor to the Saudi G20. He is coordinating support from the World Bank on preparing for the G20 Presidency through thematic expertise, policy advice, and capacity building. Prior to this, he was a project advisor in the Governance Global Practice (GP) at the World Bank with overall accountability for the quality and performance of an $11 billion portfolio of 100 projects in public financial management, domestic resource mobilization, and public sector performance world-wide. He has over 25 years of experience specializing in international finance, economic development, and infrastructure and has implemented multi-million dollar programs, engaging private sector investors and client governments in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to that he worked for the Institute of International Finance preparing country risk analysis reports for international banks.
Ronnie holds a master’s degree in International Finance and Economics from the George Washington University, and has completed an executive program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He is fluent in French and Arabic. He has designed, delivered and facilitated over 80 high impact workshops that integrate technical, leadership and communication skills for World Bank, Government and non-profit organization staff. He has a long track record coaching and mentoring staff on their leadership, personal effectiveness, and careers.

Alberto R. Melgoza, PhD, MBR, FGIA

Alberto R. Melgoza holds a PhD and Master by Research in Business. He is author of numerous articles presented at international conferences and based on his research has been awarded with prestigious awards in the USA and the UK. He is also a Fellow member of the Governance Institute of Australia, a Committee Member of the Financial Executive International Committee on Governance, Risk and Compliance, a member of the GCC Board of Directors Institute, and the American Psychological Association. Alberto has authored relevant publications at specialist journals like Academy of Management Proceedings and Journal of Management and Organization. He has served as member of the Board of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management and guest speaker in many events on issues associated with a high performing corporate culture and behavioral competency development through mentoring and coaching. Throughout his career Alberto has designed and implemented mentoring and coaching programs in Saudi Arabia – Aramco and Australia, including publicly listed, private, and the government, but also at all levels of the corporation from Directors to Operational Staff. His passionate about developing technical, soft and leadership competencies through well designed mentoring and coaching programs. He is also passionate in optimizing the strategic direction of the Business by providing executive advice to key stakeholders. Prior to Saudi Aramco, Alberto was the founder of Aesthetic Management-Australia, offering specialist services on minimizing Risk factors related to a weak corporate culture, gender bias, wrongful behavior, and lack of soft and leadership competencies within the staff.

Dana Buheji

Ms. Buheji joined NBB in 2017 as the Chief Human Resource Officer. Her focus lies on ensuring the Bank effectively maximises its talent base, invests in the training and development of staff and effectively recruits and retains staff to support the Bank’s efforts to grow and diversify. She has over 19 years’ overall experience in the areas of financial analyses and HR talent management after working with Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, Ministry of Finance and Ahli United Bank. She is also Secretary to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee in the Bank. Additionally, she is a Board Member in Injaz Bahrain, Member of consultative Committee for Bahrain International Federation for Business & Professional Women (BPW) and a Member of HR and Remuneration Committee of Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB). Zainab is based in Invesco’s Dubai International Financial Centre office and is responsible for developing and leading Invesco’s Institutional business across the Middle East and Africa. She represents Invesco’s full range of investment strategies across a broad set of asset classes and vehicles to sovereign investors, pension funds, investment companies and family offices.
Zainab has more than 15 years experience in the investment management industry in London and Dubai. She began her career as a technical analyst where she advised portfolio managers on market timing decisions, but transitioned into sales, marketing and strategy leadership roles at blue chip firms including Fidelity and Invesco. During her university years, and given her passion for charitable causes, she also fundraised professionally for various NGOs including Plan International, The Children’s Society, and Amnesty International.
Zainab’s extra curricular activities span a range of interests, including advocacy for female empowerment in the workplace as a member of Invesco Women’s Network Management Committee and Head of Corporate Partnerships for the Dubai chapter of the Ellevate network. She is also a passionate humanitarian, having most recently volunteered at refugee camps in Greece.
Zainab holds a degree in Economics and International Studies from The University of Warwick, the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society UK, and the Certificate in Securities and Financial Derivatives.

Jumana Abu-Hannoud served as Chief of Staff for HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein where she was involved for five years in regional and international strategies in the fields of health, education, social development, peace and humanitarian aid. She was a board member of the International Humanitarian City and consulted for several international NGO’s and UN agencies.
Jumana is a Founding Partner and Board Member of Reach, the first non-profit incorporated organization in DIFC, dedicated to female mentoring and professional development in the Middle East. She is also a co-founder and Steering Committee member of the 30% Club GCC chapter, a voluntary business collaboration platform for accelerating the representation of women on boards and in senior executive positions.
Throughout her 20 years of experience in executive management, entrepreneurship, corporate affairs, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, external relations, fundraising, coaching and mentoring, she dedicated her career to helping others in need, and therefore made a deserving winner of the 2017 Humanitarian Woman of the Year and Emirates Woman’s Woman of the Year Awards.
Jumana currently heads the Gulf Area Office for SOS Children’s Villages International as Managing Director, serving the cause of orphans and abandoned children in the MENA region and worldwide.

Racha has over 20 years’ experience in capital markets, investment banking, and asset management, with executive management roles and an extensive network in Europe and MENA region, across international institutions, family offices and investment banks.
She has been selected as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Finance in the Middle East by the Financial News in 2019, and has received achievement awards throughout her career in addition to being lead speaker in international financial conferences.
Currently the Group CDO at Equitativa, a diversified asset management and private equity firm, focusing on the Real Estate sector, where she pioneered the expansion of the firm to the Asian markets through partnerships in Hong Kong for the Belt and Road REIT and the subcontinent including India & Pakistan, with focus on multi sector asset class.
She previously held senior posts in Lehman Brothers, State Street and Bloomberg - London, she was also the head of institutional business at Menacorp, and the Mena business manager at Fidessa. Racha has, during her career, successfully built and ran profitable verticals within organizations and extensively grown existing setups, across different asset classes.
Racha sits on the board of Gate Capital, a multifamily office, and is the founder of Reach, the first nonprofit organization in the DIFC providing mentoring expertise to young female professionals.
Racha holds an MBA from Imperial College in London, UK and a BSc in Mathematics from UCL, London, UK. Mrs. Al Khawaja is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
Nouf AlSowaidi

With over 18 years of experience in Human resources across 7 industries ranging from the public sector to several financial institutions to telecoms and finally aviation, Nouf Al Sowaidi has been instrumental in the establishment and restructuring of HR departments and policies in addition to a suite of best practices in the HR field.
Nouf joined Gulf Air in March 2018 as Director of Human resources prior to which she headed HR in Mumtalakat, Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund after serving the bulk of her career between Standard Chartered Bank and Zain, Bahrain. Nouf has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Bahrain, an MBA with a concentration in HR from New York Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Research from the University of Bradford, UK.
Throughout her career, Nouf has been active in her community educating and mentoring university students to enhance their personal profiles and improve their employability skills.

Mrs. Elham Hasan is a leading business woman in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Being the first Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the region, she has tapped into a wide range of advisory engagement and became the first female partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Middle East region.
Mrs. Elham is currently the Chairperson of Taaheal Health Group and the chairperson for the Bahrain Bourse Disciplinary. She also sits on the board of Mumtalakat, Ithmaar Group, Solidarity Group Holding, and BNP Paribas Investment Company in KSA.
Mrs. Elham is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She continues to tap all aspects of activities including business, community and women related initiatives.

Ahmed H. Janahi

Mr. Ahmed Janahi has established himself as a leading figure in the training and consultancy sector and for lending a leading voice in the fast emerging management training industry.
Mr. Janahi held his first job experience in BSE First as a Trainee, and now holds numerous directorships in a number of regional and international projects. He is a well-known consultant figure, who has excelled by pioneering and introducing innovative and insightful concepts to the training methods of many training schools across Bahrain and the gulf region.

As a co-founder and the Manager of Projects and Operations for “HERA” Consultancy and Events, his responsibilities included overseeing day-to-day operations, and supervising the process of creating, planning, and implementing the consultancy/training products and events, and has worked as well on establishing the first Leadership Academy in the region based on experiential training style.
Having worked as an advisor with several projects the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth in Bahrain and the National Career Guidance Center in Oman, Mr. Janahi is experienced in advising educational programs and both public and private sectors on various issues related to Economic, Human Resources, Planning and educational matters including creative programs to develop the youth/employees understanding of economics, investment and capital market, improving interpersonal skills, personal and entrepreneurial development and many other topics. Dana Bukhamas

Hisham Abu Alfateh

Hisham Abu Alfateh is the Head of Corporate Communications at National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) with a mandate to position the 62 year old bank as the leading financial institution locally and regionally. He holds an MBA from University of Sunderland and B.Sc. in Accounting from University of Bahrain.

Hisham enjoys a diversified experience; his most recent were in telecommunications & lifestyle management: Through his short tenure with Zain Bahrain as Director of Zain SIGNATURE he built an extensive VIP database and introduced the SIGNATURE Concierge; a value added lifestyle service dedicated to the elite. He then went on to work as Group Commercial Officer for Peacock Concierge where he helped in expanding the company’s customer portfolio and reach; today it rests as the largest lifestyle provider in the region.

Hisham’s financial experience ranges from credit underwriting, investment banking, venture capital and private equity. Most of that experience came from Venture Capital Bank where he worked as Investment Placement Manager & Head of Corporate Communications. He contributed to the team who managed to place the Bank as a regional pioneer in Islamic investment, in addition to attracting considerable investments from government bodies, private investment firms and high net worth individuals. Hisham further stretched his financial knowledge by working at Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance as Head of Marketing where he was given a two-year project to establish the Marketing function, employ the responsible caliber and increase the institute’s reach locally, regionally and Internationally.

Hisham’s aviation experience was gained through Gulf Air when he worked as the Head of Corporate Communications & CEO Office Manager. Through diligent execution of a robust communication strategy and managing a strong team, he led Gulf Air to new heights allowing it to compete with regional giants.

Alongside his corporate life, which also includes advertising in Promoseven Group, Hisham Abu Alfateh is a well-known Public Speaker, TV Presenter, Master of Ceremony and Moderator. Razi Amin

Head of Information Technology, National Bank of Bahrain

Razi Amin is the Head of IT in the National Bank of Bahrain, has spent over 20 years in Information Technology in Banks and Financial Industry, providing leadership for the continued development of innovative, robust and secure Information Technology environment throughout NBB. Razi has worked in various retail and wholesale banks in Bahrain. His diverse background and experience in the field sets the direction and coordinates Infrastructure and service delivery across NBB transformation. He is responsible for IT units that support enterprise applications, digital platforms, enterprise data, infrastructure, and IT security.

Khaled Al Alawi

Entrepreneurship Support Manager in the Partnerships and Customer Engagement Department Labour Fund (Tamkeen)

Khaled works as the Entrepreneurship Support Manager in the Partnerships and Customer Engagement Department at the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) where he contributes towards a number of projects that aim to develop and promote entrepreneurial activities. His responsibilities include working on a number of strategic development initiatives, such as Tamkeen’s advisory services that provide business mentoring and coaching. Khaled also works with the relevant stakeholders to promote foreign investments to Bahrain. Khaled is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration (Business Mentorship) at Teesside University. He holds a master’s in public relations from Ahlia University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Brighton. Khaled aspires to contribute towards turning Bahrain into a regional innovation hub. Khaled’s interests are education, music, and arts.

Karina Chapa

Mentorship Program Manager - M&PDD, Saudi Aramco

Karina Chapa joined Saudi Aramco in 2012 serving various roles in that include: second grade teacher, foreign language instructional coach, D&I program facilitator, leadership coach and Mentorship Program manager. The core of each position is teaching others by providing space and opportunity in a fun and engaging way.

Karina’s most notable work in D&I Division is managing the Mentorship Program which has evolved over the years to serve the Saudi Aramco’s needs. The program is the only mentoring program in the Company to receive global accreditation from the International Mentoring Association for being a comprehensive program from recruitment to evaluation. Both mentees and mentors have stated that this program drastically improved their career and life.

Karina believes in volunteerism and lifelong learning. In 2005 Karina founded Fundacion Activa Houston, a grassroots non-profit aimed at serving underprivileged communities in El Salvador, Mexico and Houston. Since 2015 Karina has been managing Eastern Flames Football Club (EFFC). EFFC is the first women’s football club in the Kingdom and the first club to play competitively internationally (Bahrain) recognized by FIFA since 2017. EFFC has gained so much visibility, support, and distinctions from Saudi’s General Sports Authority (GSA) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) that EFFC players have represented the Kingdom from USA to Malaysia on official projects. In 2018, EFFC up-scaled to a sports club expanding to basketball and futsal. I look forward to being part of the movement in creating Saudi professional basketball players as well.

Khalid Saad

CEO, Bahrain FinTech Bay

Khalid Saad is the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay, the largest FinTech platform in the Middle East & North Africa region. He works with financial players, financial associations, regulators, government entities, FinTechs, lawyers and others in Bahrain and internationally to drive the development of the FinTech ecosystem.

Previously, he was focusing on financial services with the Bahrain Economic Development Board, which is a dynamic public agency that is responsible for attracting inward investment into Bahrain, enhancing the investment climate and driving economic development. He focused on promoting Bahrain's financial services sector and attracting new investments into this sector. Successes include expanding existing companies and attracting new ones such as banks, asset & wealth managers, insurers, ancillary services providers and FinTechs.

Before joining the Bahrain Economic Development Board, he worked for Ernst & Young and SEI Investments in London.

He has MSC from Imperial College London and a BSc from the University of Exeter (first-class honors).

Ali Moosa

Managing Director CEEMEA Regional Executive & Senior Country Officer J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Bahrain

Ali has over 25 years of banking experience and is Head of Treasury Services businesses for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa region. In addition to his responsibilities across all business lines and governance for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank across Bahrain, Egypt and Lebanon branches, he is also the head of Transactional Banking, which is part of the Corporate and Investment Bank unit covering Financial Institutions, Corporates and Public Sector entities across CEEMEA market. Ali is accountable for developing and implementing growth strategies across J.P. Morgan’s lines of business, leading regional management teams of J.P. Morgan offices and working in close partnership with senior leaders of the firm globally in building the firm’s expansion strategies, in-country client franchises, and product capabilities. Ali joined Chase Manhattan Bank in 1993 and has held a number of leadership positions at the firm. Ali is also a board member of a number of companies in Bahrain including the Economic Development Board and Gulf Air Group of Companies.

Esam Hammad

Director of the Partnerships & Customer Engagement department at Tamkeen

Esam Hammad is the Director of the Partnerships & Customer Engagement department at the Bahrain Labour Fund (Tamkeen). Tamkeen is one of the key government organizations providing support to entrepreneurs and businesses based in Bahrain, and responsible for developing the skills of thousands of Bahrainis in different fields. The organization has launched a number of mentorship programs in the past years, and partnered with experts in the field to facilitate such linkages for the masses.

Prior to Tamkeen Esam worked for Dubai Holding, a key investment organization in the UAE, where he managed the marketing strategy for a number of large scale real estate developments within the GCC. He began his career with Batelco as a Market Segment Manager, where he developed the organization’s offerings to small and medium businesses and helped in setting up the first telephone account management department.

Esam obtained his bachelor’s studies in Business and Marketing at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and an Executive MBA from London Business School and IESE Business School in Barcelona.
